Clue
The classic board game is brought to life in Clue: On Stage! Six guests are invited to a dinner party thrown by an anonymous host. They are given aliases–Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, and Miss Scarlet. Though discouraged from revealing personal information, it is soon discovered that all of them have fallen victim to the same blackmailer, their very host of the evening. Each is presented with a weapon and an option: pay their extortionist double, or kill the innocent butler. What follows is a madcap, slapstick evening full of murder, mystery, and laughs as they seek to puzzle out the culprit amongst criminals.

The Musical
When a nightclub singer is forced to take refuge from the mob in a convent, she ends up turning the convent choir into a soulful chorus complete with a Motown repertoire, until the sudden celebrity of the choir jeopardizes her identity.
Mousetrap
The Mousetrap begins in darkness, with only the music of “Three Blind Mice” playing. This is followed by the sounds of a crime and a radio reporting on a murder in London and an approaching snowstorm. When the lights come up, the audience sees the Great Hall of Monkswell Manor, which has been converted into the lounge of a guest house. Mollie and Giles Ralston enter and discuss their anxieties about starting their new venture as hotel managers without much experience.

Misery
Written in 1987, Stephen King’s psychological horror novel Misery tells the story of Paul Sheldon, a best-selling American author of a series of romance novels set in the nineteenth century, featuring the protagonist Misery Chastain. Paul finds himself in a “situation where he was not just writing for his supper but for his life” (122) when his self-proclaimed “number-one fan” (6), a middle-aged, former nurse named Annie Wilkes, rescues him from a car accident during a snowstorm in Colorado. Annie’s fandom, though, turns out to be a dangerous obsession. Paul fights for his life as Annie’s mania turns more perilous and Paul races to finish the novel Annie has forced him to write, Misery’s Return.
